Job Description:
Kirby Pike Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, experienced candidate for the DCGS technical support team. The successful Low Band Journeyman Entry level candidate is responsible for the configuration and operation of AF DCGS ground and airborne sensor systems. The position requires daily coordination with ground system maintainers, mission planners, and operators to configure the systems, analyze performance, optimize system performance, troubleshoot anomalies to ensure operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Perform system administration support to the PCPAD process.
- Performs Pre-Mission, Mission execution and Post mission responsibilities in support of the operational systems.
- Configure, monitor, and optimize Low Band System (LBS) software applications.
- Perform mission focused end-to-end analysis, diagnostics, and fault isolation for LBS systems.
- Configure and manage multiple airborne SIGINT sensor missions and processes simultaneously at a Core site.
- Maintains all LBS SW to operate and interface with multiple sensors, sites, and systems.
- Administration of COTS or GOTS software solutions used by DCGS operators and analysts (CICS, RIM, CETS, SEAM, etc.)
- Identify anomalies and create, update and action Incident tickets and support engineering and technical issue resolution.
- Provide technical support to the SRM and MT to conduct fault isolation and recovery of systems and sensors and associated End-to-End network paths
- Provide technical support for continuous technical improvement and system upgrade.
- Supports cybersecurity implementation and sustainment.
- Support post upgrade development and optimization of TTPs, and Ols.
- Conduct OJT to enhance proficiency and identify sustainment support improvements.
- Perform TCTO, TCNO, etc. as directed.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with military SIGINT domains to include U-2, Global Hawk, MQ-1 and MQ-9 sensors and processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) architectures.
- UNIX (Solaris or Linux) and Microsoft Windows system administration
- Administration of COTS or GOTS software solutions used by DCGS operators and analysts (CICS, RIM, CETS, etc.)
- Experience administering VMware (containers, storage, and resources) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, etc.)
- Experience with SW development methods (shell scripts, JavaScript, Python, PHP, C/C , C#, Java, XML, HTML, etc.)
- Oracle database system administration
- Familiarity with x86-based server HW
- Familiarity with the Serena ticket reporting system
- Understanding of cyber security tools and methods
Required Experience:
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- One (1) or more year COMINT experience
Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active DoD TS/SCI
Education/Certifications:
- Associate’s degree in Technical Field; or
- Five (5) or more years of DCGS experience
- DoD 8570.1 (IAT Level II or IAM Level I) certification
